、his document refer to Revision O. Ail references to TSB-51 in this document refer to Revision “O“. Several basic concepts have guided the formation of this document. Firstly, these tests are not intended to be a complete exercise of ail possible combinations of intersystem signaling scenarios. Inste
、ad these tests are intended to provide an adequate exercise of intersystem signaling and cellular feature operation to verify IS-41, IS-53 and TSB-51 compatibility between the systems in question, these exercises present a manageable set of verification exercise tests, not necessarily an all inclusi
、ve set. Generally speaking, effort has been made to order the tests from the simplest case to the more complex. In doing this the intention is, when a test fails, it identifies the simplest test capable of detecting the fault in the test sequence. Lastly, the intended audience is tesring personnel,
、they are assumed to be individuais who have an understanding of intersystem signaling and feature operation between Cellular Systems and related terminology, but not necessarily knowledgeable of the relevant IS41, IS-53 or TSB-51 standards. 2. Overview A small proportion of the tests impact only the
、 Home System and do not involve intersystem testing. These Home System tests have been added for completeness and may be performed pnor to intersystem testing. Further, these Home System tests have been marked with an asterisk (*) and are always grouped at the beginning of a section. The only except
、ion to this is in Section 6 on Call Delivery - here the entirety of Section 6.1 consists of Home System tests which should be used as baseline tests for the following two sections. See the Section 6 introduction for details. At the conclusion of each test it should be verified that all resources, pa
、rticularly uunks and radio traffic channels, used in the test are left in an appropriate state. NOTES: It is suggested that the date, time, call types, and results are recorded as the tests are performed to facilitate concurrent billing records verification. 2.1 Definitions Cellular Subscriber Stati
