In addition the present document has the following informative references: The digital video broadcasting for handheld devices using satellite, terrestrial or a hybrid network technology implementation guidelines; The digital video broadcasting system specification

The administrative procedures, system management, services, and applications are not part of the present document. This is to ensure interoperability between a digital video broadcasting transmission system and

INTRODUCTION The present document specifies the air interface for terrestrial mobile multimedia multicast in the context of digital video broadcasting for handheld devices using a satellite, terrestrial or hybrid network at frequencies below 3 G

It identifies TIA standards in which functionalities and parameters shall be implemented in order to deliver digital video broadcasting for handheld devices compliant services. 4. 34、 video broadcasting for handheld devices using satellite, terrestrial or hybrid networks at frequencies below 3 GHz and defined in 1. In addition to receiving DVB-SH signals, DVB-SH systems and devices are capable of receiving DVB-H signals (as described in 2. 6. USE OF THE SYSTEM (INFORMATIVE) This

35、 section provides informative guidelines for the use and implementation of digital video broadcasting handheld devices standards. The guidelines are included in informative reference “ETSI TS 102 584; DVB-SH Implementation Guidelines, v.1.1.1”2. The referenced document describes the main features of

36、 the digital video broadcasting handheld devices specification for digital terrestrial TV broadcasting to handheld portable/mobile terminals. It identifies the technical questions which need to be answered when setting up services and networks, and it offers guidance in finding answers to the questi

37、ons. Specifically the informative reference addresses the following areas: a. An outline of the DVB-SH system including the main satellite, terrestrial or hybrid architectures. b. A description of the elements of the DVB-SH system specifications at the link layer elements and above. These are: - at

38、the link layer: time-slicing and LL-FEC and, - above the link layer: the supports of VBR/Statmux and of Mobility. - Compatibility with the DVB-H link layer. c.
