This standard does not specify a specific naming convention for the filename portion of the filespec; however, those who generate filter characteristic data are encouraged to include some reference to the model number and to the date the d

Because of compatibility issues, a filespec following the DOS 8.3 naming convention is encouraged, but is not required for compliance. 4.2 The File Header 4.2.1 General The file header consists of records that carry information not related to the devices characteristics data. 4.2.2 Fi
24、le Header Record Characteristics The header records to be used in digitized filter characteristics for the Terrestrial Land Mobile Radio Services are defined in Table 1. They are described in detail in the succeeding sub-clauses. Each header record begins with an abbreviated name field, ending in a
25、colon. If one or more data field follows the abbreviated name field, there is no field delimiter between the abbreviated name field and the first field following it. If there are two or more data fields, the comma (“,”) serves as a field delimiter. All data positions up to and including the decimal
26、point (if appropriate for the data type) shall be filled. Per-line comments may be added to any record. In any record, all data after a “!” character may be ignored. The record length, including the abbreviated record name but excluding the , shall not exceed the value specified in the Length column
27、. If the format is free form, then the record may be shorter than the maximum length, and shall be terminated with a carriage return and line feed characters. The “X” fields describe the use of the external port: TX, RX, or ANT. If all or both ports are the same use “ALL” or “BOTH

The “Z” fields describe the gender of the connector mounted on the device (not the mating connector), i.e. “MALE” or “FEMALE”. Each data file includes at least one set of characteristics data. In cases where a given manufacturers model number corresponds to more than one characteristic curve (for example, in the case of different coupling loops), characteristics data will be presented corresponding to each different curve.
