Expand the Requirements for Additional Types of

3、Secondary Circuits 2. Delete the Denition of Industrial Use 3. Update Requirements for Units Intended to be Permanently Wired 4. Update Field Wiring Terminal Spacings Requirements 5. Add the Use of Insulating Barriers in Lieu of Spacings 6. Allow the Use of Standard UL 840 to Evaluate Clearance and

4、Creepage Distances 7. Add Requirements for Double Insulation for Non-Submersible Pumps 8. Revise the Requirements for Separation of Circuits 9. Allow the Use of Flag/Tag Type Markings on All Pumps Covered by UL 778 10. Expand the Requirements for Additional Types of Secondary Circuits 11. Update Req

5、uirements for Units that are Intended to be Permanently Wired 12. 36、PERMISSION FROM UL PART 1 ALL SUBMERSIBLE AND NON-SUBMERSIBLE MOTOR-OPERATED PUMPS INTRODUCTION 1 Scope 1.1 These requirements cover submersible and nonsubmersible motor-operated pumps intended to be used in ordinary locations in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. 1.2 These requi

37、rements do not cover pumps rated more than 600 volts, pumps using universal motors rated more than 250 volts, pumps for re protection service, pumps for use as or with swimming or wading pool equipment, therapeutic baths, and similar equipment, nor pumps covered by other individual requirements. The

38、se requirements do not cover pressure controls or pressure tanks that are intended for use in water or other liquid systems. These requirements do not cover pumps intended for corrosive or ammable uids. These would include but not be limited to gasoline, kerosene, oil, chemicals, and pesticides. 1.2
