Mechanical means for braking the rotation shall show no evidence of malfunction.SA19A.1.2 To determine whether a brushcutter com
19、plies with the requirements in SA19A.1.1, one sampleis to be tested. Each cycle is to consist of 45 seconds on at maximum operating speed and 15 secondsoff. The means for operating the unit during the test was such that the blade control was released abruptlyfrom the full “on” position and returned
20、to the “off” position by itself.SA20.12 A brushcutter shall be permanently marked in a visible location on a fixed part of the unit in thevicinity of the saw blade with an arrow raised or recessed or by any other means no less visible andindelible indicating the direction of rotation of the arbor.RA
