35、Domaine dapplication Dans cette section, on dcrit des mthodes choisies pour la mesure des caractristiques lectri- ques des rcepteurs de faisceaux hertziens terrestres, en excluant tout rseau de branchement ou de commutation aux frquences radiolectriques. Le diagramme de la figure 1, page 22, est une

36、 reprsentation fonctionnelle de ces rcepteurs. Le diagramme rel peut tre quelque peu diff- rent (par exemple quelques tages, tels que les amplificateurs r.f., peuvent tre omis). Le bruit de loscillateur local, bien quimportant paramtre des rcepteurs, nest pas mesur, dhabitude, sur le rcepteur lui-mm

37、e, mais seulement entre les accs de bande de base du faisceau hertzien. Ce paramtre, qui produit un bruit en bande de base de niveau indpendant de lattnuation due la propagation, nest donc pas pris en compte dans cette section. 2. Mesures aux frquences radiolectriques 2.1 Frquence de loscillateur lo

38、cal 2.1.1 Prcision 2.1.1.1 Djnition et considrations gnrales Pour les besoins de cette norme, la prcision de la frquence de loscillateur local est la diffrence maximale tolre entre la valeur de frquence mesure dans les conditions normali- ses dessai et la valeur nominale. La prcision de frquence de

39、loscillateur local devra tre en conformit avec les tolrances de frquence dfinies dans le cahier des charges technique du matriel. 2.1.1.2 Mthode de nzesure La frquence peut tre mesure en raccordant directement loscillateur local un frquence- mtre numrique. Si un point de mesure convenablement isol e

40、st disponible, on devra effectuer la mesure en ce point; voir la premire partie, section deux de cette publication: Mesures effectues dans la bande des frquences radiolectriques, article 9. Si aucun point de mesure convenablement isol, ni aucun accs de sortie de loscillateur nest disponible, ou si,

41、en dconnectant loscillateur, on provoque une drive de sa frquence, on peut utiliser la mthode suivante. Scope In

43、this section are described selected methods of measurement applicable to the electrical characteristics of terrestrial radio-reiay-system receivers excluding any r.f. branching and switching networks. The block diagram of Figure 1, page 22 is a functional representation of such a receiver, but in pr

44、actice the actual diagram may differ in detail, for example some stages, such as the r.f. amplifier, may be omitted. The noise of the local oscillator, although an important parameter of a receiver, is not usually measured on the receiver itself but rather between baseband terminals in the radio- re

45、lay system. This parameter, which results in path-loss-independent baseband noise, is not therefore considered in this section. 2. Radio frequency measurements 2.1 Local oscillator frequency 2.1.1 Accuracy 2.1.1.1 DeJinition and general considerations For the purpose of this standard, the accuracy o

46、f the local oscillator frequency is the maximum permissible difference between the value measured under standard test conditions and the nominal value. The frequency accuracy of the local oscillator should be in accordance with the frequency tolerances defined in the technical specification for the

47、equipment. 2.1.1.2 Method of measurement The frequency may be measured by directly connecting the local oscillator to a digital frequency meter. Provided that an adequately isolated test point is available, measurement at this point is preferred; see Part 1, Section Two of this publication: Measurem

48、ents in the Radio-frequency Range, Clause 9. If neither an adequately isolated measuring point nor an oscillator output port is available, or if disconnecting the local oscillator output port will cause the oscillator frequency to shift, then the following method can be used. An r.f. signal generato

49、r is connected to the receiver input and the input frequencyf, and output frequency Jf are measured. The frequency of the local oscillator is then calculated as f,f + J;, orLf -J;, as applicable. The stability of the r.f. signal generator frequency needs to be high enough to ensure acceptable overall accuracy.
