It is identical to ISO 17708:2018. It supersedes BS E
2、N ISO 17708:2003, which is withdrawn. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee TCI/69, Footwear A is the average width determined according to 6.2.1.Round the results off to the nearest tenth of a millimetre.NOTE For footwear where the bonding margins vary, proceed
3、 differently. Note the strength after the unsticking of 10 mm and note the corresponding assembling margin. Then, calculate the local upper-sole adhesion, Ri.Calculate the average value of Ri.7.2 Evaluation of the mode of the bond failureThe appearance of the separated areas (see 6.2.2) shall be cla

12、g air oven. After this period and before the adhesion test, the test pieces are conditioned for 24 h according to ISO 18454.A.5.2 Production controlFor production control, it is possible to use other conditions, to have quicker results. These conditions are as follows. The test pieces are placed in an
13、 oven with forced circulation (see A.4.1) at a temperature of 70 C 2 C, for 72 h.After this period and before the adhesion test, the test pieces are conditioned for 24 h according to ISO 18454.NOTE The ageing conditions specified in A.5.1 and A.5.2 cannot give equivalent results.10 ISO 2018 All righ
