15、mittee TC 20, an amendment to HD 21.1 S2:1990 was submitted to the CENELEC Unique Acceptance Procedure (UAP) in June 1990 for acceptance as an amendment .to the Harmonization Document. The text of the draft, prepared by CLC/TC 28, was approved by CENELEC as amendment 6 to HD 21.1 S2 on 15 March 1991
16、 The following dates were fixed: - latest date of announcement of the amendment at national level (doa) 1991-09-01 - latest date of publication of an amendment to the harmonized national standard (dop) 1992-03-01 - latest date of withdrawal of conflicting national standards (dow) 1992-03-01 For pro
17、ducts which have complied with HB 21.1 S2:1990 before 1992-03-01, as shown by the manufacturer or by a certification body, this previous standard may continue to apply for production until 1993-09-01. 18、normative. 3404583 80i17l115 O Amendment 6 to HD 21.1 S2 Replace sub-clause 3.1.1 by the following: 3.1.1, Continuity of Marks Each specified mark shall be regarded as continuous if the distance between the end of the mark and the beginning of the next identical nark does not exceed: 550 mrn if the
19、marking is on the outer sheath of the cable. 275 mm if the marking is: (i) on the insulation of an unsheathed cable (ii) on the insulation of a sheathed cable (iii) on a tape within a sheathed cable NOTE: A “Specified Mark“ is any mandatory mark covered by this Part of the HD or by the particular re
20、quirements of Part 3 onwards of this HD, or the optional common marking (OHARG).
