Scope1.1 This specification covers hot-fin

Materials and Manufacture5.1 Bars may be furnished either hot finished or coldfinished, suitable for machining processes, in one of theconditions listed in Table 2.6. Chemical Requirements6.1 The chemical composition shall conform to the require-ments spec
18、ified in Table 1.6.2 Methods and practices relating to chemical analysisrequired by this specification shall be in accordance with TestMethods, Practices, and Terminology A751.7. Hardness Requirement7.1 The product shall conform to the hardness requirementslisted in Table 3 for Brinell Hardness Numb
19、er (HBW).7.2 At least one hardness test shall be made midwaybetween surface and center on each lot to determine that thematerial conforms to Table 3.7.2.1 Hardness testing shall be performed in accordancewith Test Methods and Definitions A370.7.2.2 For sizes below 1 in. 25 mm cross section, thehardn
