4、is not a requirement of class. However, if stability software is installed onboard mobile offshore units contracted on or after 1 July 2005, it should cover all stability requirements applicable to the unit and is to be approved by ABS for compliance with the requirements of Appendix 3-3-A2 of the MODU Rules, “Computer Software for Onboard Stability Calculations”.
