1、MIL-W-83144A( USAF) AMENDMENT 3 16 November 1982 MILITARY SPECIFICATION WEBBING, TEXTILE, WOVEN NYLON, ROLLED SELVAGE This amendment forms a part of Military Specificaion MIL-W-83144A(USAF), dated 18 May 1970, and is approved for use with the Department of the Air Force and is available for use by a

2、ll Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. PAGE 2 * Table I, under Width (including selvages); inches, under Types I through V, delete “2+0-1/16“ and substi tute “211/16, II PAGE 3 Add new paragraph 3.2.1 as follows: “3.2.1 Resistance to light and heat. The nylon webbing shall not los

3、e more than 25 percent of the originar breaking strength upon exposure to the light and heat tests as specified in 4.5.1 and 4.5.2.“ PAGE 11 Table V, under Breaking strength, Test Method FTMS 191, delete “2/ 5100“ and subs ti tut e I 4 108. II - At the bottom of Table V, delete footnote 2/ in its en

4、tirety. Add new paragraphs 4.5.1 and 4.5.2 as follows: “4.5.1 Resistance to light. Five tests shall be made. The test specimens shall be exposed in the accelerated weatherinq unit as specified in method 5804 of Fed Std 191. side by side un the rack in such a manner that only the center portion of ea

At the etid of the exposure period, the specimens shall be conditioned at 70+2“F (211C) and 6522 percent relative humidity for 24 hours, breaking strength in a

7、ccordance with method 4108 of Fed Std 191, and the percent of breaking strength (B.S.) loss shall be calculated as follows: They shall then be tested for “4.5.2 Resistance to heat. Five tests shall be made, The test specimens shall be suspended in a circulating air oven at a temperature of 1806-+3“C
