This type of slide is typified by, but not restricted to, construction that involved the binding of the transparency and mask with a protective cover(s) of transparent material in a mount, or the binding of the material in a rigid mount. This type of slide is typified, but not restricted to, construction involv

When projecting intermixed mounted slides, the automatic focus may need to be adjusted for th

NOTE - Slides may not feed properly if they are mounted with loose or sticky tape, or have sharp glass cor- ners. 5 Dimensions 5.1 General Most tray dimensions are given with respect to datum planes (tray surfaces) that engage in mating pro- jector surfaces in such a way th

NOTE - Dimensions contained herein apply when the tray is at an equili
20、brium state of 21% (70 OF) and 50% relative humidity. All tolerances reflect manufacturing capabilities, not the functional limits of the slide tray. 5.3 Tolerances Dimensions in table 1 without tolerance indications are in accordance with IS0 2768-1 (tolerance class: medium). 6 Material Plastic mol
21、ding material, such as “polystyrene” molding batch IS0 1622-PS 41, or other molding material with the same heatproof quality, shall be selected by the manufacturer. 7 Parallel plate test Table 1 includes dimensions for the maximum separation of two parallel plates through which slides to be used in
22、these trays must pass freely under the force of gravity. The parallel plates shall have length and width dimensions in excess of the maximum overall size dimensions for slides. 8 Torque specification When an empty slide tray is placed in an operating position on a slide projector that has the index
