This ccamiercial item description covers cotton Wigan cloth in the following types as specified (see 5.1). Type I - 2.3 OZ. per q. yd. Type II - 3.4 oz. per s
3、q. yd. 2. SALIENT -SICS 2.1 General description. woven from cotton which has been carded, drawn and spun into singles yarn. The width shall be as specified (see 5.1) and shall be the minimum acceptable width inclusive of the selvage when fly-shuttle lm or shuttleless loonis with tuck-in selvages are
4、 used. For all other shuttleless 1- the width measurement shall be made between the last warp yarn on each side excluding the protruding fringe(s). The color of the finished cloth shall be natural or dyed as specified (see 5.1) and shall match the standard sample when viewed under filtered tungsten
5、lamps that approximate artificial daylight and that have a correlated color temperature of 7500 f 200K, with illumination of 100 -F. 20 foot candles, and shall be a good match to the standard sample under incandescant lanplight at 2300 f 2OOK. The use of dyes and ccanpounds containing elementary sul
6、fur capable of oxidation to sulfuric acid is prohibited.
