SCOPE. This CID covers nickel-chromiud
3、aluminum composite powder used in plasma applications. This powder is primarily intended for use as a plasma spray deposited material providing increased oxidation and hot corrosion resistance. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 2.1 Materials. Unless otherwise specified herein, the materials used shall be i
4、n accordance with the manufacturers materials specification. The use of recovered materials made in compliance with regulatory requirements is acceptable providing ail requirements of this CID are met (see 3.1). 2.1.1 Particle size. The particle size of the powder shall be as specified in table I. 2

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Recovered materials. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximym extent practicable,
8、 in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 ResPonsibilitv for inspection. The offerodcontractor is responsible for the performance of all inspections (examinations and tests). 4.2 Contractor certification. The contractor .sha
9、ll certiQ and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this commercial item description and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves t
10、he right to require proof of such conformance prior to the first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. 5. PACKAGING.
