The center of the tensile test specimens shall be from the center or rear of the zone where the obturating band groove will subsequently be located. All specimens must meet or exceed all mechanical property require
9、ments shown on drawing 12953576. The failure of any specimen to meet any of the mechanical property requirements shall be cause for rejection of all projectiles represented by that specimen. If one heat of steel is projected to be used for the manufacture of more than one months projectile bodies, t
10、he total number of tensile specimens expected should be tested at the start of the heats use.“ The margins of this amendment are marked with an asterisk, or vertical line to indicate where changes (additions, modifications, corrections, deletions) from the previous amendment were made.
