SCOPE 1.1 This specification covers the quality assurance pra- Visions and special requirements not covered by the parts and assenbly drawin of a point detonating me, modified for bun- ker penetration, designated as

APPLICBrn Ix)cuMENTs 2.1 ?he follbwing docunients of the issue in effect .on date of invitation for bids or request for proposals form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein. 4、Curve Z, as specified in MIL-STD-810. The vibration conditioninq shall be continuously performed until completed. After completion of the Five Foot Drop Test and the Functional Test, including the acceptance criteria for these tests (leak test, non-arming test, and arming time test), the same fuzes

5、shall be tested for hiqh order functioning, 3.4.6 Seal leakage test,-The leakage in the fuze shall not cause a pressure drop greater than 0,00072 psi in 10 sec, 3,4,7 Fuze Firing 3.4.7.1 Point Detonating Elode,-The fuze assembly shall function the explocive elements when a weight is dropped onto the

6、 nose of the luze, 3,4,7,2. Bunker Moda,-The fuze assembly in the bunker mode shall function the explosive elements when the fuze is dropped nose-down onto a steel plate, 3.5 Workmanshi ,-AU parts and assemblies shall be free from burrs, chips, _fi_p s arp edges, cracks, unblendad radii, surface de-

7、 fects, dirt, grease, rust, porosity, warpage, burn marks, checks, blisters, excess flash, corrosion products and other foreign matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any part nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agents, Surface coating shall be continuous except f

8、or a few slight scratches not exposing base material, The loading and assembly operatlons shall be performed in a thorough workmanlike manner consistent with the best practices of the industry. 10、 contract. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection.-Unless otherwise speci- fied in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirerents as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or order, th

11、e supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perforri?. any of the inspections set forth in the speci- fication where such inspections are de

12、emed necessary to assur2 supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Submission of product,-At the time each completed lot o iterrs deliverable under the contract is submitted to the Govsrn- ment for acceptance, the contractor shall supply the following information accompanied by

13、 a certificate which attests that the inforration provided is correct and applicable to the product being submitted : a. A statement that the lot complies with all of the quality assurance provisions specified in this specification. b, Drawing and specification number and date, together with identif

14、ication and date of changes thereto. c, A statemnt that all material purchased by the con- tractor mets requirements, when such material is controlled by Governmnt or commercial specifications referenced in any of the contractual documents, and that certificates of conformance are on fila and availa

15、ble for review, The certificate shall be signed by a responsible agent of the cer- tifying organization. The initial certificate submitted shall be substantiated by evidence of the agents authority to bind his prin- cipal, Substantiation of the agents authority will not be required with subsequent c

16、ertificates unless, during the course of the con- tract, this authority is vested in another agent of the certifying organization. d. 18、50994 (MU) 4.1.2.1 Use of simulated defect stand.ards.-The following listed verified inspections shall be validated-and inspection equip- ment verified hourly using Design Agency approved item facsimilies or standards containing the defects and supplied by the contractor. The contractor shall resupp

19、ly the item facsimilies when it is deter- mined by the Government that the facsimilies are no longer represen- tative enough of the product to make it unidentifiable to the con- tractor inspection personnel, or it is not functioning in the neces- sary manner and cannot be corrected satisfactorily. T

20、hese standards should be representative of defects actually found or anticipated. They should be inert and readily identifiable to the Government to ensure recovery should they be inadvertently introduced into pro- duction. Simulated defect standards used to verify the following verified inspections

21、 should be constructed and identified in such a manner that they are not readily recognizable to the contractor inspection personnel as defect standards, so that their number, time, and sequence of introduction into the inspection cycle is known only to those personnel responsible for checking the a

22、ccuracy of. the operation. Adequacy o the standards shall be verified at feast once each shift, Standards should be used.
