QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS L.1 Responsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the per- formance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Fxcept as orherwise specified, the suppl

16、ier may utilize his own faciliti:.s or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection require- xnrnts specified herein, unless disapproved by the Coverment. he Govrrn- ment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections

17、 are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.l.l General provisioE.- The component and subassably inspection requirements of XIL-F-13926 form a part of the Quality Assurance Provis- ions of this specification. Definitions of inspection terms shall be as

Lc.2 First article (initial production) approval.- The requirement for first article approval and the responsibility (Government or con- tractor) for first article testing shall be as specified in the contract. The sample for first article approval tests shall consist of

19、three (3) nounts plus three (3) each of all items covered by SQAP. The three mounts shall be tested as specified herein for all the requirements of this speci- fication. The items covered by SQAP shall be tested, as specified thereon, for all characteristics delineated on the SQAP. The samples shall

All parts and materials, includin

21、g packaging and packing, shall be obtained from the same source of supply as used in regular production. 4.2.1 Government testing.- When the Government is responsible for conducting first article approval tests, the contractor prior to submitt- ing the sample to the Government, shall inspect the sam

22、ple to insure that it conforms to all the requirements of the contract and submit a record of this inspection with the sample, including certificates of conformance for materials. 4.2.2 Contraccor testing.- When the contractor is responsible for conducting first article approvai tests, the sample sh

23、all be inspected by the contractor for all the requirements of the contract. The sample and a record of this inspection, incliiciing.certificates of conformance for materials, shall be submitted to the Government for approval. The Government reserves the right to witness the contractors inspection.

24、4.3 Inspection provisions. 4.3.1 Submission of product.- Unless otherwise specified by the Con- tracting Officer, inspection lot size, I.:_ formation and presentation of lots shall be in accordance with “Suhission of Product“ provisions of YIL-CTD-105. 4.3.2 hamination and tests. 4.3.2.1 Components

25、and subassemblies.- All comp;ts and subassem- blies shall be inspected in accordance with the inspectio:, provisions con- taized in Supplementary Quality Assurance Provisions (SQAP) listed in the technical data package (TDP). In the absence of SQhPs, the applicable !)uality Assurance Provisions of M

26、IL-F-13926 shall apply. 4.3.2.7 lount.- Examination and tests related to Section 3 herein shall be performed on a class basis in accordance with YIL-STD-105 and the savpling plans specified in Tables II, III, and IV herein. Ewnination and tests for packaging, packing, and marking shall be in accorda

27、nce with XL-P-14232 and Section 5 herein. The tabulated classification of defects in Tables II, ITI, and IV shall constitute the minimum inspection to be performed by the supplier after first article approval and prior to Govern- ment acceptance or rejection by item or lot.
