9、e a silver color mylar plied with a nylon supporting yarn and shall be equivalent to number 1.2 Laminette. yarn shall be approximately 420 denier, 00085 inches in diameter and round. 10、-The spine of the shoulder board (see 3.2.8) shall be formed and the front covered with felt specified in 382.1. The felt shall extend onto the back, at least 3/4 inch around. cement specified in 3.2.3. The ribbon bar specified in 3.2.5 shall be centered on and cemented to the bottom of the spine. T
11、he back of the shoulder board shall be covered with backing cloth (see 3.2.2) lined with paperboard specified in 3.2.7. covered with backing cloth specified in 3.2.2. cemented to the paperboard and stitched to the felt covering. QUALITY ASSURANCE PKOVISIONS. 4.1 Responsibility for .inspection-Unless otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as
15、 specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract . or purchase order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of inspection requirements specified herein, unless dis- approved by the Government. the inspection set forth ia the specification w
16、here such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. The Government reserves the right to perform any of 4.2 First article inspection-When first articles are required, inspection and testing of the first article shall be made on a completely
17、fabricated shoulder board for all provisions of this specification applicable to the end product examination and tests. 4.3 MIL-STD-105 except where otherwise indicated. 4.3.1 Inspection for acceptance-Inspection shall be in accordance with Testing of components-In addition to the quality assurance
18、provisions of subsidiary specifications and drawings, components shall be tested as specified in table II. When the data in the “Number of determinations per sample unit“ and “Results reported as“ columns are not specified in table 11, they shall be as required by the referenced test method. All req
19、uirements are applicable for the individual sample unit. The inspection level shall be S-1 and the acceptable quality level for sample unit requirements shall be 6.5 defects per hundred units. The acceptable quality level shall be 2.5 defects per hundred units and the inspection level shall be S-3. The sample unit shall be one finished shoulder board. 4.3.2.3 shall be classified in accorda
26、nce with the lists shown in 4.3.2.4, 4.3.2.5, and 4.3.2.6. 4.3.2.4 Visual examination of ribbon-Defects found during the examination Yard-by-yard examination-The required yardage of. each roll shall be inspected and visual defects classified as listed. A continuous defect shall be counted as one def
27、ect for each warpwise yard or fraction thereof in which it occurs. The sample unit shall be one linear yard. The sample size shall he based upon inspection level II.
