Vehicles procured under this specification are commercial items which are warranted by the manufacturer as specified

Materials used shall be non-toxic, relatively non-
24、absorbent, resistant to fat and normal cleaning with bactericidal solutions, and shall not contaminate the water or affect the smell or taste of the water. Nozzle and faucet seals shall be free of asbestos impregnated materials. Parts, fittings, pumps, and piping in contact with water shall be of co
25、rrosion-resistant material not affecting the potability of water. Fabrication of the tank and piping system shall be such that it shall not cause or result in contamination of drinking water.
