20、eral organisation of this series is described in EN 4258. 4.3 Clause I : Scope In this clause the scope and application limits of the technical specification shall be stated. 4.3.1 General part 1 Scope This standard defines the general requirements for manufacture, inspection and testing of products
21、 in . (complete with metallic material family e.g. heat resisting alloys). Specific requirements applicable to each type of product are defined in Part 2 onwards (if applicable). It shall be applied when referred to in the EN material standard unless otherwise specified on the drawing, order or insp

27、 necessary technical requirements for the manufacture, inspection and testing of the products. This clause is subdivided into two sub-clauses : - clause 4.1 : General requirements ; - clause 4.2 : Technical requirements. 4.6.1 General part 4 Requirements 4.1 General requirements 4.1.1 Manufacturing
28、schedule The product shall be manufactured to fulfil the requirements of the relevant material standard and this technical specification. The manufacturer shall define the raw material, processes and inspection requirements in a manufacturing schedule in accordance with EN 2078. The manufacturer sha
29、ll make this available to purchaser or mandated body upon request. Once approved any modifications to the manufacturing schedule shall be in accordance with EN 2078 and EN 3042. 4.1.2 Traceability Each semi-finished product shall be traceable to the cast production batch and/or heat treatment batch
30、at all stages of manufacture and delivery. 4.1.3 Freedom from defects All products shall be free from defects not complying with the requirements of the material standard or order, or which may be prejudicial to the subsequent manufacture and/or use of the products. 4.1.4 Health and safety The produ
31、ct in the delivery condition shall fulfil the current health and safety laws of the area of the country where it is to be delivered. A product safety data sheet shall be available. 4.2 Technical requirements 4.2.1 General The product shall satisfy the requirements of the relevant material standard a
32、nd/or the order. 4.2.1 .I Heat treatment Unless otherwise specified, heat treatment facilities and procedures shall conform to EN 4268. The product shall be supplied in the delivery condition specified in the material standard and/or order. If a specific temperature (value and tolerance) is stated i
33、n the material standard or the order, that temperature shall be mandatory. If a temperature range is stated, a temperature within that range reduced by the tolerances of the furnace shall be selected. The charge shall be maintained at the temperature selected subject to the furnace tolerances in tab
34、le . for the period stated. Where no period is stated this shall be at the discretion of the manufacturer. Table . Page 7 prEN 4260 : 1996 4.2.1.2 Chemical composition The test samples used for analysis shall be representative of the product. The method of analysis shall be at the option of the manu
35、facturer, but in cases of dispute, the reference method set out in the relevant EN or IS0 standard shall be used. If no EN or IS0 standard exists, a fundamental and agreed method of chemical analysis calibrated against accepted reference standards shall be used. 4.2.1.3 Preparation of samples Test s
36、amples shall not be worked after removal from the product they represent, except in cases where the product is intended for further working (forging stock), or when permitted by the material standard or the order. - samples and associated test pieces shall be marked in such a manner that their ident
37、ity and orientation with respect to the product and the batch is maintained - samples taken from finally heat treated products (condition of use) shall not be further treated - samples representing products in a condition other than the condition of use shall be heat treated in accordance with the m
38、aterial standard before testing. 4.2.1.4 Dimensions Dimensions and tolerances shall conform to the requirements of the order or drawing. The frequency of examination adopted by the manufacturer shall be sufficient to enable him to certify compliance with the requirements. NOTE : TR 2410 gives the re
39、lationship between EN dimensional standards and EN material standards. 4.2.1.5 Semi-finished product designations When required, semi-finished product designations shall conform to the requirements of the order. NOTE : The semi-finished product designation system to be used may be defined by EN 2600
40、, a national standard, a company standard or a project standard. 4.6.2 Specific part 4 Requirements 4.1 General requirements See EN XXXX-1 (insert EN number of general part) 4.2 Technical requirements See EN XXXX- 1 (insert EN number of general part) 4.2.1 General The product shall satisfy the requi
41、rements of the relevant material standard. Unless otherwise specified in the material standard, the test method and test frequency are given in annex A for qualification testing and in annex B for release testing. Add an y relevant general technical requirements as necessary. 4.2.2 Specific Specify

43、cation procedure is dependent on the type of product. In general product qualification as described hereafter, according to EN 3042, is controlled by the mandated body but does not apply to castings or forgings. For castings or forgings, product qualification will be in accordance with the requireme
44、nts of the drawing and/or order, and will be controlled by a manufacturing and inspection schedule defining pre- production and production procedures prepared and approved in accordance with EN 2078. 4.7.2 General part 5 Quality assurance 5.1 Approval of quality system See EN 2000. 5.2 Product quali
45、fication Product qualification shall be in accordance with EN 3042. 5.2.1 Principle The product tested for qualification shall be manufactured on the same equipment and in accordance with the same specification and process procedures as the serial products. Product qualification to a material standa
46、rd, includes the manufacturers acceptance to a quality audit of the entire production procedure, from the raw material acquisition, through processing steps to batch release and the use of relevant standards including quality assurance documentation. If required a confidential audit can be carried o
47、ut. Adjustment of the manufacturing schedule to accommodate improved manufacturing techniques to the state of the art is the manufacturers responsibility but may require requalification of the product to the material standard. As part of the product qualification, the mandated body reserves the righ
48、t to carry out processing trials and/or product qualification tests in house or at an independent facility. All results of the product qualification tests including reference to the manufacturing schedule shall be presented in a qualification test report (see subclause 5.2.4). Upon successful produc
49、t qualification the manufacturers name and qualified product will be recorded in TR 3040-2. The qualification is directed to the raw material specifications or sources and the equipment and the processes which have been identified in the manufacturing schedule. NOTE : To use a certain product in an aerospace application product qualification alone may not be sufficient ; additional pre-and/or post-qualification testing may be required by the user : - Pre-qualification : manufacturers data or screening tests to verify basic properties according to the requirements of the relevan
