13、fort was expended through the years towarddevelopmentofseveralscrewthreadstandards.Recognizingtheneedtostandardizethemethodofroundingdecimalvaluesinthecalculationofscrewthreaddimemsions,theASMEStandardsCommitteeB1chargedSubcommittee30withtheresponsibilityforproducingsuchastandard.ThisStandarddesigna

14、tedASMEB1.30wasdevelopedonlytoserveasthebasisforroundingofdecimalvaluesassociatedwiththecomputationofscrewthreaddimensions.The examples and formulas depicted within this Standard are for reference only and arepresentedonlytoclarifytheroundingproceduresdescribed.Whencalculatingthedifferentthreadchara

15、cteristicsforaparticularthreadform,refertotheappropriateASMEB1standardfortheformulasandmethodologyofcalculationforthatthread.ThisStandardwasoriginallyapprovedasanAmericanNationalStandardonJune29,1992.Thisissueupdatesthe1992issueandincludes:(a) theadditionofanotetopara.1.2fortheclarificationoftheuseo
