20、O 125 PSI (SIZES NPS1/2THROUGH NPS 2)1 SCOPE1.1 GeneralThis Standard covers requirements for manually oper-ated metallic valves sizes NPS12through NPS 2, foroutdoor installation as gas shut-off valves at the endof the gas service line and before the gas regulatorand meter where the designated gauge
21、pressure of thegas piping system does not exceed 125 psi (8.6 bar). The Standard applies to valves operated in a temperatureenvironment between 20F and 150F (29C and66C).1.2 DesignThis Standard sets forth the minimum capabilities, characteristics, and properties, which a valve at thetime of manufactur

This designation may be shown on the heador stem.2.5 Lubrication (Sealant)Valves which require pressure lubrication (by theinjection of lubricant through fittings to the sealingsurface of the valve) shall be capable of being lubricatedwhile subjected to the

The design must be suchas to minimize entry of lubricant into the gaswaywhen lubricated in accordance with the manufacturersinstruction.2TAB
