1、Designation: A 601 05Standard Specification forElectrolytic Manganese Metal1This standard is issued under the fixed designation A 601; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parenthes

Scope*1.1 This specification covers several grades of electrolyticmanganese designated as follows:GradeRegular AIntermediate Hydrogen BLow Hydrogen C4.5 % Nitroge

4、d to this specification shall conform tothe requirements of Specification A 1025, including anysupplementary requirements that are indicated in the purchaseorder. Failure to comply with the general requirements ofSpecification A 1025 constitutes nonconformance with thisspecification. In case of conf

5、lict between the requirements ofthis specification and Specification A 1025, this specificationshall prevail.4. Chemical Requirements4.1 The various grades shall conform to the requirements asto chemical composition specified in Table 1 and Table 2.4.2 The manufacturer shall furnish an analysis of e

6、achshipment showing the percentage of each element specified inthe applicable table.5. Size5.1 The various grades are available in the sizes listed inTable 3.5.2 The sizes listed in Table 3 are typical as shipped fromthe manufacturers plant. These alloys exhibit varying degreesof friability; therefo

7、re, some attrition may be expected intransit, storage, and handling (see 5.3 and SpecificationA 1025).5.3 Friability Ratings:Grades A, B, CGrades D, ENo. 6No. 56.
