Responsibility for Quality Assurance5.1 Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchaseorder, the producer shall be responsible for the
36、 performance ofall inspections and test requirements specified herein. Unlessotherwise agreed upon, the producer may use his own or anyother suitable facilities for the performance of the inspectionand test requirements specified herein. The purchaser shallhave the right to perform any of the inspec
37、tions and tests setforth in the specification where such inspections are deemednecessary to confirm that the material conforms to prescribedrequirements.6. Materials and Manufacture6.1 The responsibility of furnishing castings that can be laidout and machined to the finished dimensions within theper
38、missible variations specified, as shown on the blueprints ordrawings, shall rest with the producer, except where moldequipment is furnished by the purchaser.7. Chemical Composition7.1 The castings shall conform to the chemical compositionlimits prescribed in Table 1. Conformance shall be determinedb
39、y the producer by analyzing samples at the time the castingsare poured, or samples taken from castings or tension testspecimens representative of the castings. If the producer hasdetermined the chemical composition of the material during thecourse of manufacture, he shall not be required to sample a
