Materi
37、als and Manufacture4.1 Materials:4.1.1 The materials shall conform to the published compo-sitional requirements of the Copper or Copper Alloy UNS No.designation specified in the ordering information.4.1.2 In the event heat identification or traceability isrequired, the purchaser shall specify the de
38、tails desired.NOTE 2Because of the discontinuous nature of the processing ofcastings into wrought products, it is not always practical to identifyspecific casting analysis with a specific quantity of finished material.4.2 ManufactureThe product shall be produced by hotworking, cold working, or both,
39、 and finished by such coldworking, annealing or heat treatment and straightening as maybe necessary to meet the properties specified.4.2.1 EdgesThe edge shall be drawn, extruded, or rolled;refer to Edge Contours in Section 6.5. Chemical Composition5.1 The material of manufacture shall conform to the
40、compositional requirements prescribed in the product specifi-cation.5.1.1 When a product (check) sample is analyzed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the compositionalrequirements within the permitted analytical variance given inthe product specification.5.2 The composition limits estab
41、lished for the Copper orCopper Alloy UNS No. designation specified in the productspecification does not preclude the presence of other elements.Limits may be established and analysis required for unnamedelements by agreement between the manufacturer or supplierand the purchaser.5.3 When material com
42、position has been determined duringthe course of manufacture, analysis of the finished product bythe manufacturer is not required.6. Dimensions, Mass and Permissible Variations6.1 GeneralFor the purpose of determining conformancewith the dimensional requirements, any measured value out-side the spec
