Mechanical and Other Requirements5.1 Tension TestThe mechanical properties of
10、 the materialat room temperature shall conform to those shown in Table 1.The sampling and specimen preparation are covered in Speci-fication B 829.5.2 Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric TestEach pipeor tube shall be subjected to either the hydrostatic test or to thenondestructive electric test.
11、The type of test to be used shall beat the option of the manufacturer, unless otherwise specified inthe purchase order.6. Dimensions and Permissible Variations6.1 The requirements of Specification B 829 will applyexcept for hot-finished pipe and tube dimensional requirementsshown in Table 2.1This sp

Chemical Requirements7.1 The material shall conform to the requirements as tochemical composition specified in Table 3. One test is requiredfor each lot as defined in
16、Specification B 829.7.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations in Table 3 of Specification B 829.8. Test Methods9.1 Hydrostatic TestThe allowable fiber stress for hydro-static testing purposes shall be 17 500 psi.9.1.1 Any pipe or tube th
