Materials and Manufacture5.1 The product of UNS N08020 alloy shall be furnished inthe stabilized-annealed condition. The product of UNS N08026alloy shall be furnished in the solution-annealed condit

Theproduct of UNS N08024 alloy shall be furnished in theannealed condition.NOTE 1The recommended annealing temperatures all followed byquenching in water or rapidly cooling by other means are as follows: 1800to 1850F (982 to 1010C) for UNS N08020, 2050 to 2200F (1121 to1204C) for UNS N08026, an

Chemical Composition6.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in

One test is required for each lot as definedin Specification B 829.6.2 If a product analysis is performed by the purchaser, thematerial shall conform to the composition limits specified inTable 1 subject to the product analysis tolerances specified inTable 1 of Specification B 829.7. 17、ical and Other Properties7.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall conform tothe mechanical property requirements specified in Table 2.7.2 Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric TestEach pipeand tube shall be subjected to either the hydrostatic test or thenondestructive electric test. The type of
18、test to be used shall beat the option of the manufacturer, unless otherwise specified inthe purchase order.8. Sampling8.1 Product (Check) Analysis shall be wholly the responsi-bility of the purchaser.9. Number of Tests9.1 Chemical AnalysisOne test per lot.9.2 Mechanical PropertiesOne test per lot.9.
19、3 Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric TestEachpiece in each lot.10. Test Methods10.1 Hydrostatic Test:10.1.1 Each pipe or tube shall be hydrostatically tested, at apressure not to exceed 2500 psi (17 MPa) for nominal sizes 3in. (76 mm) and under, nor 2800 psi (19 MPa) for all nominalsizes over 3
20、in. (76 mm). The allowable fiber stress for materialin the condition (temper) furnished is 20 000 psi (138 MPa),10.1.2 Visual examination is to be made when the materialis under pressure. The full length of material must be examinedfor leaks.10.1.3 When so agreed upon between the manufacturer andthe
21、 purchaser, pipe or tube may be tested to one and one-halftimes the allowable fiber stress given in 10.1.1.10.1.4 If any pipe or tube shows leak during hydrostatictesting, it shall be rejected. Any leaking areas may be cut outand the pipe retested as above.10.2 Nondestructive Electric TestEach pipe
22、or tube shallbe examined with a nondestructive electric test in accordancewith Specification B 829.10.2.1 Test signals produced by imperfections such as thefollowing, may be judged as injurious or noninjurious, depend-ing on visual observation of their severity or the type of signalthey produce on t
