Dimensions and Permissible Variations6.1 Cornerbeads shall have an interior angle between theflanges no greater than 89.6.2 Accessories shall be fr
20、ee of twist or camber of a degreethat will prevent their use in the assembly for which they areintended.6.3 Length tolerances shall be 6316 in. (64.8 mm).6.4 The size of the edge trim shall suit the thickness of thegypsum board used.6.5 The minimum width of the flange shall be78 6132 in.(22 6 0.8 mm
21、).7. Appearance7.1 Edges of accessories shall be free of burrs and sharpedges.8. Configuration8.1 Flanges of accessories, when required to be attached toframing members, shall have punch outs to accommodatefastening to the framing members. When required to meetperformance requirements, the flanges s
22、hall be either knurled,made of mesh, deformed, expanded, or otherwise shaped tomeet the performance requirements and intended use. Sampling9.1 At least 0.25 % of the number of each type of accessoryin a shipment, but not less than three pieces, shall be selectedto represent the shipment
24、and shall constitute a sample for thepurpose of tests by the purchaser or user.10. Inspection10.1 Inspection of the accessories shall be agreed uponbetween the purchaser and the supplier as part of the purchaseorder.11. Rejection and Rehearing11.1 Rejection of accessories that fail to conform to the
25、requirements of this specification shall be reported to theproducer or supplier promptly and in writing within 10working days from receipt of shipment by the purchaser. Thenotice of rejection shall contain a specific statement of therespect in which the accessories have failed to conform to therequi
26、rements of this specification. In case of dissatisfactionwith the results of the test, at the request of the producer orsupplier, such notice of rejection shall be supported by resultsof a test conducted by a mutually agreeable independentlaboratory.12. Certification12.1 When specified in the purcha
27、se order, a producers orsuppliers certification that the product meets the requirementsof this specification shall be furnished to the purchaser.13. Packaging and Package Marking13.1 Accessories shall be packaged to ensure safe deliveryby common or other carriers.13.2 When shipped for resale, the na
28、me of the manufactureror seller and the brand and contents shall be legibly marked oneach package.14.
