15、t of manufacture.5.2 Unless otherwise agreed upon between manufacturer and purchaser, the material shall be sampled in accordance with theprocedure described in Section 9 of Practice D1898. Adequate statistical sampling prior to packaging shall be considered anacceptable alternative.6. Conditioning6
16、.1 ConditioningCondition the test specimens at 23 6 2C (73.4 6 3.6F) and 50 6 5% relative humidity for not less than40 h prior to test in accordance with Procedure A of Practice D618 for those tests where conditioning is required. In cases ofdisagreement, the , unless otherwise specified by contract
17、 or the relevant ASTM material specification. Conditioning time isspecified as a minimum. Temperature and humidity tolerances shall be 6 1C (61.8F) and 62 % relative humidity.in accordancewith Section 7 of Practice D618, unless specified differently by contract or material specification.6.2 Test Con
18、ditionsConduct the tests in the standard laboratory atmosphere of 23 6 2C (73.4 6 3.6F) and 50 6 5 % relativehumidity,at the same temperature and humidity used for conditioning with tolerances in accordance with Section 7 of PracticeD618, unless otherwise specified in the test methods or in this spe
19、cification. In cases of disagreement, the tolerances shall be 61C(61.8F) and 62 % relative humidity. by contract or the relevant ASTM material specification.7. Test Methods8.1 Bottle Capacity:8.1.1 Weigh the empty bottle and record the weight in grams.8.1.2 Fill the bottle to overflow capacity with conditioned water containing the wetting agent, adjusting the meniscus by us
39、e ofa pipet, if necessary, until the meniscus is tangent to the top of the finish surface. No more than 2 min shall be allowed for fillingthe bottle and no additional water shall be added after the bottle is filled to overflow and free of air bubbles.8.1.3 If the time exceeds 2 min, discard the samp
