Protective Equipment6.1 Employees who work with BPA should be well trainedand should maintain safe working conditions. They should be

16、required to read an appropriate SDS for BPA in its entirety andconsult appropriate, local, safety personnel if they have anyquestions or concerns. Persons handling molten bisphenol-Aneed to exercise particular care.7. First Aid7.1 Consult an appropriate SDS for BPAwith regards to firstaid measures t

If they dooccur, only properly protected personnel should remain in thecontaminated area in accordance with the

18、 instructions in anappropriate SDS. All spill-related activities should complywith applicable EPA, OSHA, and local regulations and laws.8.2 Because of fire and dust explosion hazards, do notpermit open flames in the vicinity of tank carriers, othershipping containers, or storage tanks. Provide all e

All pneumatic conveying should be done withnitrogen or other inert gas.8.3 Any person sampling or handling these products shouldhave consulted an appropriate SDS

20、for specific first aidinstructions and equipment to have available for use in theevent of personal contact or exposure.8.4 Conduct sampling and handling operations in accor-dance with the instructions in an appropriate SDS.9. Unloading Hopper Cars or Hopper Trucks9.1 Observe all safety precautions a
