1、Designation: F2120 06 (Reapproved 2010)An American National StandardStandard Practice forTesting Treestand Load Capacity1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F2120; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the
2、 year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice provides guidance for testing the loadcapacity of treestands.1.2 The values stated are in inch-
3、pound units and are to beregarded as the standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of r

Summary of Practice4.1 This practice provides guidelines
9、 for the selection oftests for the evaluation of the load capacity of treestands inaccordance with manufacturers capacity rating, particularlyfor quality assurance and adequacy of safety factors including:4.1.1 Static load test.4.1.2 Stability and adherence test.4.1.3 Repetitive loading test.NOTE 1C

Significance and Use5.1 This practice is provided to develop and maintainuniformity in practices for the eval

Selection of Test Procedures6.1 The following methods are recommended for individualunits and situations:6.1.1 An individual test unit of the specified model shall beselected a
