Terminology3.1 Definitions:3.1.1 bicycle frame, nstructural member that supports theseat with rear connection for the rear wheel, front connectionvia the head tube for the fork and lower connection for thecrank/pedal assembly.4. 6、uirements5.1 The bicycle frame shall be tested in accordance with thefollowing tests from Test Methods F2711:5.1.1 Horizontal Loading Fatigue TestThe frame shall betested and each must complete a minimum 50 000 cycles witha cyclic load of 1200 N tensile and 600 N compressive.5.1.2 Vertical Loading F
7、atigue TestThe frame shall betested and each must complete a minimum 50 000 cycles witha cyclic load of 1200 N to 120 N load in the compressivedirection.5.1.3 Impact Strength TestThe frame shall be tested witha drop height of 360 mm, and the permanent set of the frameand fork shall be less than 40 m
8、m.6. Rejection and Rehearing6.1 Frames that fail to meet the requirements of thisstandard shall be rejected.7. Certification7.1 When specified in the purchase order or contract, thepurchaser shall be furnished certification that specimens havebeen either tested or inspected as directed in this speci
9、ficationand the requirements have been met. When specified in thepurchase order or contract, a report of the test results shall befurnished.8.
