Scope1.1 This specification covers requirements for the com-pound and physical characteristics of cork floor tile. Thisstandard specifies the requirements for cork floor coveri

3、ngsmade from agglomerated composition cork supplied in tileform, which are designed to be used with a factory finish or anin situ finish, or both.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. Materials and Manufacture6.1 Class IHomogeneous Cork Tile Homogeneous corktile shall be of uniform structure and composition throughout,consisting of cork granules thoroughly and uniformly bondedtogether.6.2 Class IIHeterogeneous Cork Tile The pattern of thi

18、stile comprises a veneer layer of cork and a base layer consistingof cork granules thoroughly and uniformly bonded together.The pattern of this tile need not extend throughout the entirethickness of the tile.7. Physical Properties7.1 SquarenessWhen tested in accordance with TestMethod F2055, cork fl

19、oor tile squareness variation shall notexceed 0.02 in. (0.5 mm).7.2 ThicknessWhen tested in accordance with TestMethod F386, thickness variation shall not exceed 60.01 in.(60.25 mm).7.3 SizeWhen measured in accordance with Test MethodF2055, a tolerance of 60.016 in. (0.4 mm) per tile shall bepermitt

20、ed.7.4 Apparent DensityShall be 28 lb/ft3(450 kg/m3) whentested in accordance with EN 672.7.5 CurlingWhen tested in accordance with EN 434, shallcurl less than 0.236 in.
