6、red under the direction of Technical Committee ACE/21, Narrow woven fabrics for aerospace purposes, is one of a series for textiles of a quality suitable for aerospace purposes. It constitutes a revision of BS 3F 111:1991 which is withdrawn. This new edition removes the option to use mineral khaki a
7、nd updates the references in this standard. 14、e 5, Clause 6, Clause 7 and Clause 8 of this standard, the requirements and tests given in the latest edition of BS F 100, as specified in Table 1, shall apply. Table 1 General requirements (given in BS F 100) 4 Yarn 4.1 The webbing shall be manufactured from unsized flax yarns of nominal linear den
15、sity as follows: a) warp: 5 ply yarn of resultant linear density 460 tex (R460 tex/5); b) weft: 3 ply yarn of resultant linear density 276 tex (R276 tex/3). NOTE Warp yarn having a mean breaking strength of 150 N and weft yarn having a mean breaking strength of 90 N have been found suitable. 4.2 The
16、 residual alkali solubility shall not exceed 10 % for both warp and weft yarns. 1) The latest edition of this standard should be used. 20、neral 6.1.1 The webbing shall be supplied in one of the following conditions: a) undyed, scoured and rotproofed with pentachlorophenyl laurate (PCPL); or b) dyed and rotproofed with PCPL. NOTE The condition required should be stated in the contract or order (see Annex A). 6.1.2 Where dyed webbing is
21、 required it shall conform to 6.2. 6.1.3 The webbing shall be rotproofed to conform to 6.3. 6.2 Dyeing Where dyeing is required, the colour shall be specified by reference to a British Standard, e.g. BS 381C, or otherwise by pattern. NOTE 1 It is permissible to dye either the webbing or the yarns fr
22、om which it is constructed. NOTE 2 The colour required should be stated in the contract or order (see Annex A). 6.3 Rotproofing The webbing, or the yarns from which it is woven, shall be treated with pentachlorophenyl laurate (PCPL) from aqueous emulsion, conforming to BS 2087-1:Normal process. 7 Co
23、nstruction and properties 7.1 Except as provided in 7.2, the webbing in the finished state shall comply with the following requirements: a) width mm; b) minimum breaking strength 13 500 N; c) mass per unit length, maximum 75 g/m; d) maximum thickness (as measured in accordance with BS EN ISO 5084 un
24、der a pressure of 21 kPa) 2.3 mm; e) ends in width ; f) picks (calculated from the number in a measured length of not less than 20 mm) 44 2 per 100 mm. 45.0 +0 1.5 122 +2 0BS 4F 111:2002 BSI 24 October 2002 3 7.2 Webbings of widths other than 45 mm may be supplied in compliance with this British Sta
25、ndard. In such cases the values of the ends in width and minimum breaking strength shall be proportional to the values specified in 7.1. The maximum thickness and number of picks shall comply with the requirements of 7.1d) and 7.1f). NOTE The requirement for widths other than 45 mm should be stated
26、in the contract or order (see Annex A). 8 Identification The webbing shall be identified by the number of this British Standard 2) , i.e. BS 4F 111:2002 together with the width and, if required, the colour. The identification may be codified. For example, 45 mm wide webbing required dyed Oxford blue
27、 may be identified as “BS 4F 111/45 mm/BS 381C No. 105”. 2) Marking BS 4F 111:2002 on or in relation to a product represents a manufacturers declaration of conformity, i.e. a claim by or on behalf of the manufacturer that the product meets the requirements of the standard. The accuracy of the claim
28、is therefore solely the responsibility of the person making the claim.
