、given for cadi test in this cl i:uSe Test other than those quoted may be performed by mutual agreement between the producer and customer, 3.1 Vulcanization - Method I Time lapse between vulcanized and test is : I6 hours. 3.2 For laboratory testing and conditioning a temperature of 23 OC ? 2 C and a
、relative humidity of 50 % 2 5 % shall be used. When agreed between Producer aiid Customer, testing and conditioning may be carried out at 23 OC k 2 OC and ambient humidity. 3.3 Density - Method 3 3.4 Hardness - Method 4 - Normal test. - Test piece thickness : approximately 8 mm obtained by stacking
、a 2 mm f 0,2 mm thick sheet on a 6,3 mm * 0,3 mm thick sheet, the latter placed so as to contact the indentor. - Number of measurements : 3. In the specific caseof hardness yariatiori, determination after oven ageing or after liquid immersion, measure the hardness before and after treatment on stack
、ed sheets, each being 2mm ? 0,2 mm thick. Method 4 shall be used for rubbers of a hardness ranging between 30 and 85 IRHD, but can be extended to those having a hardness ranging between 30 and 95 IRW. NOTE : For rubbers at the extremes of the hardness range, see : ISO/R 1400-1971 - Determination of
、hardness of vulcanized rubbers SO/R 1815-1971 - Determination of hardness of vulcanized rubbers of high hardness (85 to 100 IRHD) , of low har-dness (10 to 35 IKHD). 3.5 -Stress-Strain ?roperties - Netliod 5 - Dumb-bell test piece, type 2 (total length : 75 mm). - Test piece thickness : 2 nun .f. 0,
