BS5626 now supersedes BS698:1956, BS4295:1968 and BS5068:1974 which are withdrawn. WARNING NOTE. This British Standard calls for the use of a subs

10、tance that may be injurious to health, i.e. trichlordiphenyl (seeTable I), if adequate precautions are not taken. It refers only to the technical suitability and does not absolve the user from legal obligations relating to health and safety at any stage. Terminology and conventions. The text of the

11、International Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as a British Standard without deviation. Some terminology and certain conventions are not identical with those used in British Standards; attention is drawn especially to the following. In the introduction, the words “This standard

12、 is one of a series which deals with” should be read as “BS5626 deals with”. Similarly, the words “The series consists of three parts” should be read as “BS5626 has the following three Parts”. Also, in the introduction, for “Sheet” read “Section”. In clause1 “Scope”, the words “This sheet” should be

13、 read as “This Section of BS5626”. Where the words “shall be subject to agreement between supplier and purchaser” appear, e.g. in the “Remarks” column of Table I against “Ash”, this should be taken to indicate that the subject matter concerned is not inherently part of the requirements of the standa

14、rd, but should be included in the purchase contract. The use of polychlorinated biphenyls is covered by EEC Directive 76/769/EEC and subsequent Directives amending it. These Directives do not prohibit the use of polychlorinated biphenyls for primary and intermediate products for further processing i

The series consists of three parts: Part1: Definitions and General Requirements (IEC Publication554-1); Part2: Methods of Test (IEC Publication554-2); Part3: Specifications for Individual Materials. Sheet 2 Class2: Capacitor paper 1 Scope This sheet contains the requirements for capacitor kraft paper: Type2.1: Kraft capacitor paper. Type2.2: Kraft capacitor paper, high reliability. Type2.3: Kraft capacitor paper, low loss. Type2.4:

25、 Kraft capacitor paper, high reliability, low loss. 2 Requirements 2.1 For sampling procedures see ISO Standard186: Paper and Board Sampling for Testing. 2.2 The paper shall comply with the general requirements given in IEC Publication554-1-1: Definitions and General Requirements. 2.3 When tested by

26、 the methods stipulated, the capacitor paper shall comply with the requirements given in Table I. 39、ture stabilization of the windings at each temperature, using a guarded bridge with a tuned detector, to an accuracy in conformity with Sub-clause7.3 of IEC Publication250: Recommended Methods for the Determination of the Permittivity and Dielectric Dissipation Factor of Electrical Insulating Materi

40、als at Power, Audio and Radio Frequencies including Metre Wavelengths. The measurements shall be made at a potential gradient of15kV/mm calculated on the nominal thickness of the paper. The result at any temperature is the central value of the three measurements. Values are given for trichlordipheny

41、l but another impregnant may be used where appropriate.
