28、plit pin. The bend shall have a radius of not more than0,5Dmax. After two bending operations of each leg the pin shall show no crack. These tests are to be done on0,1% of each batch produced. The production lot is defined as follows: The production lot shall consist of finished split pins of the sam
29、e basic part number and diameter formed by the same process from a single material cast produced as one continuous run. 4.1.2 Appearance Ends shall be free from sharp edges. The two legs closed to each other shall form a circular cross section. The eyelet shall be formed by a radius with the body of
30、 the split pin, but an indentation may be accepted if it forms no sharp angle at the root and if the reduction of thickness of the leg is not more than5%Dmax. The split pins shall be free from cracks and any other defects. 5 Designation Each split pin shall only be designated as in the following exa
31、mple: NOTEIf necessary the originator codeS9005 may be introduced between the description block and the identity block. 6 Marking EN 2424, style G.
