It shall be used together with EN2591. 2 Normative references This

21、nts of electrical and optical connection Test methods Part101: Visual examination. 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 The specimens shall be fitted with all their contacts according to the technical specification. Any accessories which are not essential to the retaining system performance shall be remov
22、ed. If during a test sequence, the specimens are wired, contacts to be tested shall be replaced by unwired contacts. 3.2 Unless specified in the technical specification, the following details shall be stated: mounting of the specimens; preload value; load to be applied and its application point; all
23、owable displacements: 1) under load, 2) after removal of load, final measurements and requirements (ifapplicable). 4 Method 4.1 Number of contacts to be tested for each size SeeTable 1. Table 1 At least one contact shall be close to the insert periphery and one near the centre. 4.2 Procedure Each co
24、ntact shall be submitted to the specified axial preload. The load shall be increased at a rate not exceeding5N/s until the specified value is reached and maintained for10s. The maximum contact displacement shall be measured: while the load is applied; after the load is removed. This test shall then
25、be repeated in the opposite direction. 4.3 Final measurements and requirements (ifapplicable) The measured values shall be within the specified limits. The specimens shall be submitted to a visual examination (EN2591-101). No damage which would impair their operation shall be observed. Number of con
