18、t100:General 3 Preparationofaspecimen 3.1 Insulatedconductor Aspecimen1,5mlongshallbecarefullypreparedbystrippingalengthof25mmateachend.Forthe purposeofthistestallthelayersofmaterialcoveringtheconductorshallberemoved. Theinsulationshallbecutperpendiculartothecableaxiswitharazorbladeorequivalenttoolt
19、ofacilitatethe strippingoperation. Thelengthofconductorexposedateachendshallbemeasured. 3.2 Cablejacket Aspecimenofcable1,5mlong,shallbepreparedbycarefullyremoving25mmofjacketfromeachendof thecable.Arazorbladeorequivalent,heldperpendiculartotheaxisofthecable,shallbeusedtocutthe jacketfortheremovalop
20、eration.Thelengthofexposedcoresateachendofthespecimenshallbe measured. 4 Apparatus Asupportforthecoiledcableandanovenshallberequiredforthistest. 5 Method 5.1 Procedure (applicableforinsulatedconductorsandjacketedcables) Thespecimenshallbewoundinaspiralofminimumdiameter0,3mthenarrangedonasupportforha
21、ndling duringthetest. Thespecimenshallbeplacedinanovenfor30minatthetemperaturestatedintheproductstandard. Thenthespecimenshallberemovedfromtheovenwithin2minandstoredfor30minat( 55 2)C.After thiscyclethespecimenshallbebroughtbacktoambienttemperature,foraminimumof30min. Thiscycleandthemeasurementsarer
22、epeatedthreetimesmakingatotaloffourcycles.Removethe specimenfromthesupportandstraightenit.EN3475404:2002(E) 4 5.2 Requirements Oncompletionofeachcycle,thefollowingmeasurementsshallbemade:distancebetweentheinsulation andtheendoftheconductor(forinsulatedconductor)orbetweenthejacketandthecore(s)shallbe
