25、efined flammability, in thicknesses of0,05mm up to6,4mm. 29、. 3 Materials and construction The material consists of an insulating base with metal foil bonded to one side or both. 3.1 Insulating base Epoxide resin bonded non-woven aramid laminate. Its flame resistance is defined in terms of the flammability requirements of7.3. 3.2 Metal foil Copper as specifi

30、ed in IEC61249-5-1. 34、rties of the copper-clad laminate 6.1 Appearance of the copper-clad face 6.1.1 Normal surface appearance The copper-clad face shall be substantially free from blisters, wrinkles, pin-holes, deep scratches, pits and resin. Any discoloration or contamination shall be readily removable with a hydrochlo

35、ric acid solution of density1,02g/cm 2or with a suitable organic solvent. 6.1.2 Qualified surface appearance (optional) If a surface of high quality is essential for precious metal plating or fine line etching and is ordered by the purchaser, the following requirements shall apply in addition to tho

36、se of6.1.1 when inspected in accordance with2M18 of IEC61189-2. The surface appearance of the copper-clad face shall be such as not to conceal imperfections. The surface of the copper foil shall be free from scratches of depth greater than104m or1/5 of the nominal thickness of the copper foil, which

37、ever is lower. The total length of scratches of depth greater than54m but not more than104m shall not exceed1m per square metre of the total area of the material under test. This requirement applies to the surface of354m and704m(305g/m 2and610g/m 2 ) foils. Permitted scratches on surfaces of184m(152

38、g/m 2 ) foil are still under consideration. The total area of all pin-holes in an area of0,5m 2shall not exceed0,012mm 2 . No sheet shall have more imperfections of the types listed than those permitted byTable 2. 6.1.3 Surface waviness (optional) Under consideration. 6.2 Appearance of the unclad fa

39、ce The unclad face of laminate, copper-clad on one side only, shall be free from all materials, for example release agents, oils or lubricants, that might interfere with its adhesion in the multilayer fabrication operation. 43、ance with test method2D01 of IEC61189-2, the thickness, including the copper foil, shall not depart from the nominal thickness by more than the appropriate value shown inTable 3. The coarse tolerances shall apply unless the fine tolerances are ordered. Excluding copper foil If the base material is t

At least90% of the area, regardless of size, shall be within the tolerance given, and at no point shall the thickness vary from the nominal

For any nominal thickness within the range of0,8mm to6,4mm, which is not given in the table of nominal thicknesses and corresponding tolerances, the tolerance applicable to the thickness shall be that for the next greater nominal thickness giv

Delamination at the edges due to the shearing process is permissible, provided that the depth of delamination may not be larger than the thickness of the base material.
