20、4-01EN61305-1:1995 BSI 10-1999 3 1 Scope This part of IEC1305 applies exclusively to household high fidelity audio equipment and systems, and specifies general assumptions to be used to determine the characteristics of the equipment or system for specification purposes. Where possible, the methods o
21、f measurement are specified by reference to other IEC standards. 2 Conditions for measurement 2.1 The electrical conditions for measurement shall be those specified in the standard in which the method of measurement is described. 2.2 The climatic conditions for measurement shall be within the follow
22、ing ranges. NOTEFor further information on climatic conditions in general, see IEC68-1, IEC721 and IEC Guide106 (Annex A). 3 Published specifications A comprehensive specification shall be available to prospective users before purchase of the equipment. It shall contain all the information specified
23、 in clause4 of each relevant part of this standard. Abbreviated specifications may be published in addition to the comprehensive specification. The published values of all the characteristics mentioned in the parts of this standard shall be measured by the methods specified in these parts. 4 Modes o
24、f operation If a piece of equipment or a system has more than one mode of operation, the comprehensive specification shall include relevant information on the characteristics of the equipment in all modes.
