33、cordancewithISO664.Iflargenon- oleaginousforeignbodieshavebeenseparatedbeforereductionofthelaboratorysample,makeallowanceforthis inthecalculation(see9.2).Accordingtotherequirementsofthecontract,takeasampleasreceivedorafter separationoftheimpurities. 7.2 Inthecaseofcopra,gratetheproductbyhandor,prefe
34、rably,useamechanicalgrater(5.3)whichallowsthe wholesampletobetreated.Whengratingbyhand,whichdoesnotallowalltheanalysissampletobegrated, endeavourtoobtainatestsamplewhichisasrepresentativeaspossibleand,tothisend,takeaccountofthesize andcolourofdifferentfragments. Thelengthoftheparticlesaftergratingma
35、yexceed2mm,butshallnotbegreaterthan5mm.Mixtheparticles carefullyandcarryoutthedeterminationwithoutdelay. 7.3 Inthecaseofseedsofmediumsize(groundnut,etc.),exceptforsafflowerseed,sunflowerseed,soyabeans andcottonseedwithadherentlinters,grindthetestsampleinthemechanicalmill(5.2),whichhaspreviouslybeen
