33、Thetestspecimensshallbeaged,ifnecessary,beforemeasurementsaremade.Asanalternative,acorrection factorforageingshallbeapplied. NOTE Ageingproceduresarefoundinproductspecifications,whererelevant. MeasurementsshallbecarriedoutinaccordancewithISO8301,ISO8302orEN12667forflattestspecimensand ENISO8497forcy
34、lindricaltestspecimens. Thetemperaturedifferencebetweenthehotandcoldfacesshallrangefrom10Kto40Kforflattestspecimens. Thetemperaturedifferenceshallbechosentomaximizetheaccuracyofthemeasurement.Forcylindrical specimens,testedinaccordancewithENISO8497,theserequirementsontemperaturedifferencedonotapply,
35、 butthetemperaturedifferenceshallnotbesmallerthan10K. Measurementsshallbemadeatthreedifferentmeantemperaturesatleast. Formeantemperaturesupto500C,thecurvedeterminedinthetestshallbebaseduponmeasurementsat intervalsofamaximumof100K,overthewholeservicetemperaturerangestatedbythemanufacturer. Thermalcon
36、ductivityshallalsobemeasuredattemperaturesclosetoinflexionpointsorotherirregularitiesofthe curve. Formeantemperaturesgreaterthan500C,thecurvedeterminedinthetestshallbebaseduponmeasurements atintervalsofamaximumof200K. Noextrapolationoftestresultsbeyondthemeasuredtemperaturerangeispermitted.Themeasur
37、edthermal conductivitiesshallberoundeduptothenearest0,001W/(m K). Theresultsshallbeexpressedeitherbyatemperature/thermalconductivitycurveorbyatable.Thecomparison withtheproposedcurveortableisonlymadeatthetemperaturesofmeasurement. 5.2 Procedureforverification Selectthreedifferentsamples.Takethetests
38、pecimensfromthesesamplesatrandom,asrequired. Measurethethermalconductivityofthetestspecimenfromthefirstsampleinaccordancewiththemethod describedin5.1. Comparetheresultsofthemeasurementswiththevaluesobtainedfromtheproposedcurveortable. Ifthemeasuredvaluesarealllessthanorequaltothethermalconductivitie
39、sderivedfromtheproposedcurve ortable,thetestispassedandtheproposedcurveortablebecomesthedeclaredcurveortable. Ifoneormoreofthemeasuredvaluesexceedsthecorrespondingthermalconductivityoftheproposedcurveor tableby10%ormore,thetesthasfailed. Iftherearemeasuredvaluesabovethevaluesontheproposedcurveorinth
40、etablebutnoneofthemexceeds thecorrespondingthermalconductivityby10%,thentwonewtestspecimensshallbemeasuredinaccordance withthemethoddescribedin5.1,onespecimenbeingtakenfromeachofthetworemainingsamples. Fortemperatures below100C,measurethethermalconductivitiesofthesecondandthirdspecimenat temperature
41、swithin5Kofthevaluesmeasuredforthefirstspecimen.Increasethisto10Kfortemperatures above100C.ENISO13787:2003(E) 7 Ifnoneofthenewmeasurementsexceedstheproposedcurveortableby10%ormore,themeasuredthermal conductivitiesshallbeconvertedtothetemperaturesatwhichthemeasurementsforthefirstcurveweremade, usingt
42、heslopeofthefirstcurvetomaketheconversion. Resultsofthemeasurementsabovetheproposedcurveorthevalueinthetableby10%ormoreshallconstitutea failureofthetest. Calculatethevaluesofthermalconductivityatthecorrespondingtemperaturesbycalculatingthemeanofthethree valuesmeasuredorconvertedateachtemperature. If
43、allthesenewmeanvaluesarelowerthanorequaltothecorrespondingthermalconductivitiesofthe proposeddeclaredcurve,thetesthaspassed,inwhicheventtheproposeddeclaredcurveortablebecomes thedeclaredcurveortable. Ifoneormoreofthenewmeanvaluesishigherthanthecorrespondingthermalconductivityoftheproposed declaredcurveortable,thetesthasfailed.
