22、EC 61400-24:12Wind turbines Part 24: LightningprotectionCSA PrefaceThis is the first edition of CAN/CSA-IEC 61400-24, Wind turbines Part 24: Lightning protection , which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 61400-24 (f

23、irst edition, 2010-06). This Standard supersedes the previous edition, published in 2007 as CAN/CSA-C61400-24, Wind turbine generator systems Part 24: Lightning protection (adopted IEC/TR 61400-24:2002). At the time of publication, IEC 61400-24:2010 is available from IEC in English only. CSA Group w

24、ill publish the French version when it becomes available from IEC.CSA Group acknowledges that the development of this Standard was made possible, in part, by the financial support of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). This Standard was reviewed for Canadian adoption by the CSA Subcommittee on Wind Tu

25、rbines Lightning Protection, under the jurisdiction of the CSA Technical Committee on Wind Turbines and the CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Requirements for Electrical Safety, and has been formally approved by the Technical Committee. This Standard has been approved as a National Standard of Can

26、ada by the Standards Council of Canada. Interpretations: The Strategic Steering Committee on Requirements for Electrical Safety has provided the following direction for the interpretation of standards under its jurisdiction: “The literal text shall be used in judging compliance of products with the

27、safety requirements of this Standard. When the literal text cannot be applied to the product, such as for new materials or construction, and when a relevant committee interpretation has not already been published, CSA Groups procedures for interpretation shall be followed to determine the intended s

28、afety principle.” Note to the user: A climatology of lightning ground flash density (Ng), superior to the use of thunderstorm days at synoptic meteorological stations in determining the CAN/CSA-IEC 61400-24 class of lightning protection for wind turbines, can be accessed from Environment Canada by c
