2、uropean Conference of Posts and Telecommunications Administrations, considering - that digital multiplex equipment is used to connect two levels of the hierarchy, - that primary and second order digital multiplex equipment exist which are different according to the characteristics of various network
3、s (synchronous equipment, equipment with positive/zero/negative justification), - that the installation and operation of digital multiplex equipment from different origins require that they should be standardized, - that the relevant CCITT existing Recommendations contain various options and differe
4、nces which are necessary on a worldwide basis, - that the CEPT Administrations support the harmonization of telecommunication equipment and systems which could lead to a reduction in the development and production costs for the manufacturers supplying equipment to several countries, recommends that
