45、s them in terms of the processes by which they are produced. 2 Terms and definitions 2.1 textured filament yarn : Multi- or monofilament yarn characterized by twist and/or crimp by which it has, or can develop by after-treatment, stretch and/or bulk-properties. 2.2 bi-shrinkage yarn : Yarn obtained
46、by a process in which two groups of filaments with different shnnkage properties are combined, the crimp being completdy or partially developed : in the lanw case the development is realized with a subsequent treatment. usually a heat treatment. 2.3 bi-component yarn: Yarn obtained by a process in w
47、hich filaments with a cross-section containing two com- ponents having different chemical or physical properties are used. The crimp is either completely devdoped. partially developed or latent. In the last two cases the development is realized with a subsequent treatment. 2.4 draw-textured yam : Te
