31、1.2This Standard does not transfer any responsibility for the quality of the treated product from themanufacturer to the certification agency.1.3This Standard does not cover the grading of lumber or plywood nor the fabrication or installation ofpermanent wood foundation materials.1.4It is recognized
32、 that some field-cutting of permanent wood foundation materials might be necessary atthe time of erection and/or installation. The special application of field-cut preservative is not coveredby this Standard.1.5In this Standard,“shall” is used to express a requirement, i.e., a provision that the use
