Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB
31、/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Use to which the building is put (e.g. as housing, hotel, shop, shoppi
32、ng centre, offices, hospital, factory or warehouse). 0.1.2 Type, design, location and dimensions of the installation (e.g. well size, dimensions of pit, headroom and machine room, distance of supports for escalators and passenger conveyors, rise and conveying length). 0.1.3 Loadbearing capacity of r
33、oofs and floors, access and hauling routes for large components. 0.1.4 Work undertaken by the client with respect to thermal and sound insulation and fire protection. 34、passenger conveyors and materials handling equipment, e.g. information on sets of lifts, dimensions of car, whether lift with opposite or several entrances, type and dimensions of doors, nominal width of steps or pallets, accessibility for the disabled, angle of inclination of escalators or conveyor
35、s. 0.2.2 Required capacity, e.g. nominal load, nominal speed, power supply, number and location of landing levels, purpose (i.e. for transportation of passengers or goods, with details of the type of goods). 0.2.3 Requirements with regard to the following: electrical installation, number of journeys
36、 per hour, landing precision, capability for other uses, e.g. as a firefighters lift, bed lift, industrial truck lift or vehicle lift. 0.2.4 Type of drive (e.g. rope or hydraulic, and position of machinery). 0.2.5 Any requirements regarding fire and radiation protection, damp proofing, thermal insul

44、pecifications of this standard, they shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.4 Details of associated tasks and special tasks No details are required supplementary to those given in DIN 18299, subclause 0.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, acc
45、ounting of works shall be based on the following: the number of items, accounted for separately according to type and technical data, for each complete and operational installation. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with installations designed to remain permanently in one place and to convey passenger
46、s or goods between predetermined access or landing levels. 1.2 This standard does not deal with handling equipment which can be separated from the installation without affecting the completeness or usability of the latter, and which can be used independently. 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also
47、 apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18385 shall take precedence. DIN 18385:2016-09 8 2 Materials and components No specifications supplementary to those given in DIN 18299, clause 2. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3
48、 shall be supplemented as follows. 3.1 General 3.1.1 Immediately following conclusion of the contract, the contractor shall provide the client with all the information required for the efficient installation and proper operation of the installation. On the basis of the planning documentation and calculations supplied by the client, the contractor shall prepare and submit the required assembly and workshop plans, coordinating these where necessary with the client.
