6、 standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 98/37/EC, and the “revised Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA
7、. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directives. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the r
8、equirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are indicated in the scope of this document. When p
31、rovisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard.
32、 DIN EN 13355:2010-06 EN 13355:2004+A1:2009 (E) 6 1 Scope This document is applicable to combined booths for the application of organic liquid coating materials by an operator with maximum drying temperature of 100 C and deals with all hazards significant for combined booths, when they are used as i
33、ntended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4). To the extent of this document, a combined booth is considered an assembly of the following equipment: forced ventilation by one or more fans, ventilation air heating system (e. g. heat exchanger or burner), power driven d
34、ampers, forced ventilation ducting, dry air filtering and/or wet air washing systems, automatic fire extinguishing equipment and additional specific electrical equipment, control and power circuits joined together for the spraying and drying process of liquid coating material in a space totally encl

This document does not cover: a) booths for automatic spraying, powder spray booths, open booths, and portable heaters. b) design of the building foundations upon which a booth is installed; c) the civil engineering and building de
