The slacks are a dress type with a sewn-on two-piece waistband with five belt loops, a hook and eye waistband closure, two front and two back darts, a front fly with slide fas- tener and fly tab, straight side pockets and unhemmed straight le
6、gs. An outlet is provided at the seat seam through the waistband, and at the inseam from the crotch to the knee. All exposed edges and the leg bottoms shall be over-edged stitched. The inside of the waistband shall have a rubberized track. The leg front and back creases shall be treated with a perma
7、nent silicone adhesive bead. 3.2 Waistband and front fly. The two-piece waistband shall finish 1-1/4 e 1/8) inches in width, with a lockstitch immediately below waist seam, through the slack and waistband lining. The fly tab shall have a buttonhole placed as indicated on the pattern, corresponding t
8、o a button on the right waistband lining. The buttonhole shall be eyelet-end, cut after, taper-bar type worked over gimp with the end securely tacked. The finished cut length shall be 3/4 inch. The right front fly shall be stitched 1-114 (2 118) inches from the front edge of the fly, with a horizont
9、al bartack at the junction of the crotch seam and the base of the ?J? stitching line. All bartacks shall be 1/4 (2 1/16) inch long, 1/8 ( Universal Button Co. The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salien
15、t characteristics of this commercial item description, and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards and quality assur- ance practices. The govemment reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to the first delivery and thereafter as may be

25、ance to dry heat (3 exposures) in accordance with Test Method 5642 L, at a maximum of 400 F, and steam pressing and perchloroethylene solvent (3 exposures) in accordance with Test Method 562 1 l/. 5.4.2 Waistband resistance testing. The slacks shall have a minimum rating of “good” when . evaluated f
26、or waistband resistance to dry heat (3 exposures) in accordance with Test Method 5642 L/, at a maximum of 400” F; steam pressing by wetting waistband lining with water and stein press at a temperature of 240” to 250” F for 1 minute, allow the lining to reach room tem- perature and without rewetting,
27、 steam press again for 1 minute, repeat two more times and visually check for degradation after each exposure; and perchloroethylene solvent (3 exposures) in accordance with Test Method 5621 l/. - 1/ Federal Test Method Standard 19 1. 5.5 Market acceptance criteria.
